GlenOak Athletics is proud to recognize our Athletes of the Week, Kaitlyn Wilson and Javi'Ion McClendon for their performances this past week!
🏈 Male Athlete of the Week 🏈
Congratulations to Javi’Ion McClendon, senior running back for our GlenOak Football Team!
Javi’Ion had a dominant performance Friday night, rushing for 270 yards and 3 touchdowns on 19 carries, leading the Golden Eagles to a 44–12 win over Mansfield. His explosive effort powered the offense and continued an outstanding season, as he’s now up to 920 rushing yards on the year.
👏 Great work, Javi’Ion! Keep leading the way and finishing the season strong.
🏐 Female Athlete of the Week 🏐
Congratulations to Kaitlyn Wilson, senior leader on our GlenOak Volleyball Team!
Kaitlyn capped off the regular season and started tournament play with stellar performances, recording 24 kills over the final two home matches while posting a .292 hitting percentage. Her strong play and leadership in the postseason, helped guide the Golden Eagles to a tournament win over McKinley.
