GlenOak Athletics is proud to recognize our Athletes of the Week, Mikayla Tucker and Timarien Patterson, for their performances this past week!
Female Athlete of the Week – Mikayla Tucker
Congratulations to freshman Mikayla Tucker of the GlenOak girls bowling team, this week’s Female Athlete of the Week!
This past week, Mikayla delivered an outstanding performance at the OHSAA District Championships in Lorain, Ohio, finishing 3rd overall with an impressive 589 individual series.
Her performance has earned her a spot at the OHSAA State Championships this Saturday at HP Lanes in Columbus, Ohio.
Male Athlete of the Week – Timarien Patterson
Congratulations to sophomore Timarien Patterson of the GlenOak boys basketball team, this week’s Male Athlete of the Week!
Timarien’s steady improvement throughout the season has earned him the opportunity to move from the JV team into the Varsity starting lineup. He has embraced the challenge, excelling at managing the offense, playing strong defense, and delivering a few dynamic blocks that have energized the team.
Beyond the court, Timarien has also been a hardworking student in the classroom this school year. He’s coming off a great week of practice, preparing himself and his teammates for Tuesday night’s trip to Perrysburg for the District Semifinal game.
