GlenOak Athletics is proud to recognize our Athletes of the Week, Lexie Groves and Kyle Moff, for their performances this past week!
Female Athlete of the Week – Lexie Groves
Congratulations to senior Lexie Groves of the Softball Team, this week’s Female Athlete of the Week!
Lexie has been a steady senior leader behind the plate all season, and she put together an incredible stretch of games against West Branch, Hoover, and Ellet.
The senior catcher went 6-for-10 at the plate with an amazing 4 home runs and 10 RBIs, providing a huge spark offensively while continuing to lead the team with confidence and consistency from the catcher position.
Male Athlete of the Week – Kyle Moff
Congratulations to senior Kyle Moff of the Baseball Team, this week’s Male Athlete of the Week!
Kyle played a huge role in leading the Eagles to victories over Lake and Fitch last week. Against Fitch, Kyle had a memorable performance, blasting his first career home run while also adding a triple at the plate. He later came in on the mound to secure the save and help finish off the victory.
